Spaulding Opens New Outpatient Center at Shetland Park in Salem

Salem, MA – Spaulding Rehabilitation is pleased to announce the opening of the new Spaulding Outpatient Center at 35 Congress Street in Salem. The new Outpatient Center, which opened in February, was originally located on the campus of Spaulding Hospital North Shore (the former Shaughnessy-Kaplan Rehabilitation Hospital). On May 22nd, the center will become the new home of Pediatric Rehabilitation Services currently provided by Mass General for Children at North Shore Medical Center. This will be the largest outpatient center of Spaulding Rehabilitation, providing adult and pediatric services in one convenient location.

The new center provides a wide array of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services. In May, the center will expand to include Audiology services for adults, infants and children, as well as a wide range of Pediatric Specialty Programs. Spaulding joins a growing list of businesses to move into the beautiful waterfront location at Shetland Park, which includes a large number of healthcare and social service providers.
